Some of the key responsibilities are listed below.
*You will be overall responsible for the organisations day to day finance function.
*Producing monthly management accounts. You will sit down regularly with managers to ensure this is done in an accurate manner and highlight any variances to directors.
*It will be your responsibility to ensure accurate information is available in order to complete financial statements inline with SORP and SAP.
*Improving financial policies and procedures, budgeting and forecasting and cost monitoring.
*Create costs for fundraising applications in preparation of donor reports.
*Use QuickBooks system for financial entries and financial reports.
*Project managing external audit.
*Responsibility of the HR function, contract admin and ensuring all employees are happy.
*Liaising with key suppliers, maximising staff output and acting as the key point of contact for employees of the organisation.
To be considered for this role you must have experience within a similar post, you will need to be an excellent communicator and have a proven background in juggling financial and non-financial duties across the board. You will ideally have experience using QuickBooks and you will need to be from a charity background.
