This is a 12 month (maternity cover) Finance Analyst position based at our Head Office at Greenfields House, Coventry.
Are you looking to work for an employer with aims and ambitions beyond that of satisfying shareholders? We are a membership organisation, everything we do is focused on benefitting them and all profit is invested back into their Club.
We have recently reached over 700,000 members, our highest ever numbers and with over 800 employees, we're definitely not a small operation; although our culture still retains that friendly, 'family' feel that so many companies seem to have lost. Being a not-for-profit gives us a different approach from purely commercial organisations, and means corporate hierarchies and unnecessary red tape aren’t part of our make-up.
Our Finance Department has a vacancy for a Finance Analyst. The purpose of the post is to analyse and interpret financial results. This will provide insight, support decision making and lead to strategic discussion across the business.
Day to Day duties include :
• Develop and maintain 'business models' for The Club, to use as forecasting tools
• Provide meaningful interpretation of data and benchmark against business units
• Providing bespoke analysis to internal stakeholders
To be successful in this role you will have the following attributes:
• Experience of working as part of a Finance Team
• Advanced Excel, including PowerPivot and preferably VBA
• An investigative nature
• Able to discuss and present findings to all levels of stakeholder in an engaging way
This is a great opportunity to be involved in the continuous improvement of The Camping and Caravanning Club. We might be the world’s oldest and largest Club for all forms of camping, but our ideas and services are forward thinking, and industry leading. We offer a competitive salary, generous annual leave entitlement and a supportive working environment.
If you want to be involved in our future and feel this role will give you the freedom and diversity you’ve been seeking, please send a CV and covering letter with salary expectation.
Due to the high volume of applications normally received unfortunately it is not possible for the Club to communicate back with each applicant so please note that if you do not hear from the Club within 3 weeks of sending your application you should assume that unfortunately you have not been successful on this occasions.
