The Finance Analyst has responsibility for ensuring the accurate and timely
production of the monthly management accounts for division(s) and ensuring these
are discussed and agreed with budget managers where appropriate.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The post holder will support and input into the production of monthly and annual
management accounts, including;
Investigating variances and resolving discrepancies, liaising with internal
and external parties as necessary.
Discussion with staff regarding confidential and sensitive financial issues
and offering financial advice where possbile.
Participating with interfaces and journals to input and manipulate financial
data onto Finance Systems
Play an integral part in the Trust’s establishment control, including financial review of
all recruitment requests
To contribute towards CiP Tracking and input into costings for new projects,
initiatives or service changes as necessary.
To distribute monthly budget information to budget managers.
To ensure that all payables invoices are promptly coded for accruals and sent to
Raise invoice requests to accounts receivable and obtain relevant documentation as
To input monthly budget adjustments and contribute towards reconciliations, for
budget holder approval and to maintain an audit trail.
On an annual basis, be involved with revenue budget setting process.
Assist both internal and external auditors with financial audits as required.
