My client has an exciting role to start ASAP as a financial analyst within the FMCG sector. You will have experience of working within finance, manipulating data, good excel skills and have ideally worked with SAP before.
*To deliver accurate and complete financial figures, to complete the periodical closing related tasks are done accurately and in time
*To maintain and improve reporting, helping the management and other stakeholders drive the right business decisions
*Accounting operation to deliver accurate and complete periodical closing, incl. accruals, controls, write-offs, x-charges, prepares balance sheet reconciliations, and liaises to MFS
*Owns the accounting processes in the team including the period end close processes, journal postings, checks, accruals, internal controls, write-offs and cross-charges
*Owns and improves the local governance processes, including compliance with both internal & external control requirements. Implement and complete required internal controls to minimise/eliminate audit findings and recommendations. Understand the business and customer needs whilst being able to stand alone and maintain integrity.
*Owns stock audits and stock reports & is the local governance support.
*Partners with PwC to manage the yearly audits.
*Owns labour and expense reporting and periodical flash report, makes and shares analyses.
*Owns the development of reports and tools to support the business. This includes upskilling and training the users. Is oriented at what drives business results. Proactively contracts with stakeholders.
*Back-up and support to other team members in terms of updating or creating reports, ad hoc requests. Includes co-piloting and improvement projects.
Context and Scope
*Reports to SC Finance manager
*Supports the three other team members: two finance analysts and an industrial engineer
*Reports to the factory management team and other local and regional stakeholders
*Works together with the Planning team and the Quality Assurance team on the BOM's, and for the reporting with various other stakeholders including Production
1.Education & Professional Qualification:
A min. bachelor's degree in Finance, ideally with work experience in the manufacturing industry.
*Good knowledge of the manufacturing environment
*Good communication skills
*Good financial understanding (P&L, B/S)
*Good understanding of internal controls
*Excellent MS Excel and good MS Powerpoint skills
*Experience with SAP
