What will you be doing?

Our IS Finance Analyst will support the financial reporting and analysis of the IS function including People costs, Opex and Capex & Revex project costs. Working closely with IS and Finance colleagues, you will provide support on both project and operational expenditure ensuring we have robust accounting practices in place to drive insightful reporting and analysis.

Our IS Finance analyst will create and maintain cost allocation models to enable accurate analysis by brand. As a trusted partner, you will highlight and help understand the variance and drivers on under/overspend risks throughout the financial year. Partnering IS and Finance, you will support established finance processes to ensure accurate forecasting, adapting core reporting, analysis and presentation to reflect the latest focus areas, ensuring consistency in presentation and methodology. The maintenance of project cost tracking models will be a critical part of your role, supporting Project Managers in understanding project costs versus targets, including associated risks and opportunities, whilst working within the Whitbread finance framework.

Providing timely and accurate delivery of insightful reporting, our IS Finance Analyst will work on our month end cycle, including posting journals, P&L reviews and balance sheet reviews. Working across IS and Finance to collect robust information and data, you will provide insightful commentary, ensuring reporting is adapted to meet IS business needs and aligns to IS PMO reporting
