Finance Analyst

  • Responsible for financial integrity of the P&L
  • Month end - Responsible for accurate month end reporting, working closely with the Shared Service Centre to deliver to Corporate requirements and timelines
  • Deflator Management - Ensure accurate reflection of latest customer commitments / company liabilities, in relevant reporting systems
  • Advertising & Promotions - Partnering with Marketing & Category colleagues to ensure robust budget management
  • Forecasting - Ensure that promotions are reflected correctly in relevant systems and assist the Sales team and Finance Business Manager in the preparation of sales and margin forecasts for annual budget plan and quarterly forecasting
  • Year End - Responsibility for adherence to accounting principles in the closure of the fiscal year
  • Compliance - Ensure fulfilment of Corporate control requirements
  • Reporting / Analysis - Work to improve the quality of financial reporting and analysis to the business, anticipating areas that require ad-hoc investigation for further understanding
  • Projects / Initiatives - Represent Finance on cross functional project teams as required and provide project evaluation where necessary
  • Ability to represent finance in internal areas such as company wide updates and senior leadership meetings
  • Building and nurturing relationships with finance colleagues across the EMEA and International community to ensure cross functional learning's and best practice sharing


  • Educated to Degree level in a business related subject
  • CIMA, ACCA, ACA (Qualified)
  • Working knowledge of SAP is highly desirable
  • Cross Functional Business partnering experience required (Sales or Marketing preferred)
  • Experience of business analysis, sales forecasting and product profitability is required
  • Exposure to FMCG companies would be highly desirable
  • Highly developed IT skills with advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills including comfort in delivering presentations
