Position: Finance Analyst
Location: Newcastle Under Lyme
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

For the role of Finance Analyst you will be responsible for ensuring that you support the Finance Manager and Head of Design & Valuation Creation to effectively and proactively manage the Gainshare aspect of the Design function within the JCB contract. To collate, track and report on all Gainshare projects and saving initiatives. Support financial and operational management in driving saving initiatives by providing useful Management Information. To ensure internal and customer reporting is provided in a timely and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities in this role will include;
Responsible for the collation, tracking and analysis of the gainshare savings for our customer
Ensure all savings are tracked and recorded in line with agreed customer methodologies
Tracker reconciliation and audit pack creation to enable clean customer audits of gainshare
Support completion of monthly internal reporting packs
Ensure all reporting is both timely and accurate to enable gainshare performance reviews (Plan vs. Actuals)
Support in detailed and high level analysis to the customer as well as gainshare query resolution
Facilitate the customer KPI reporting
Ensure financial & admin "housekeeping" is completed
To assist the wider finance function as required
Contribute to a culture of respect and high performance within our team
Ensure adequate controls and processes are in place and DHL policies adhered to and all deadlines are met
Strive for continuous improvement within the finance department
Data analysis & reporting
Management Information reporting
Key skills and experience in this role will include:
Excellent communication skills at all levels across the business
Experience in the Supply Chain division
Ability to work to deadlines and high level of attention to detail
Multi-tasking - organised, highly efficient and able to push multiple projects forward at the same time
Advance MS Excel User
Strong data analysis and interpretation
Stakeholder & time management
Good communication & Customer Engagement skills
