Superb & rare opportunity for a newly/recently Qual (ACA straight from practice or 2nd time mover), ACCA/CIMA to join this recently created but extremely fast-growing brands & licensing division within a well-known TV & Film group. Broad & business facing providing financial support for commercial/sales team on various deals and related analysis of IP eg investment appraisal, client contract review, financial modelling as well as more traditional budgeting & forecasting and review of actuals.

·Support the commercial, sales teams and Business Heads on all deals, commercial finance/decision support initiatives such as investment appraisals, assist with financial modelling for proposed new opprtunities etc
·Provision of support to management team in analysing revenue opportunities, managing the cost base and ongoing efficiencies
·Monthly revenue, cost of sales and overhead reporting, monitoring headcount and contractors to budget and understanding variances
·Contribution to Monthly operating packs for presentation to Business Partners and Senior Finance team members, plus divisional financial reporting requirements
·Management and design of month-end processes and developing them so they are fit for purpose
·Management of revenue recognition, invoicing and liaising with third party suppliers.
·Report and monitor performance for business KPI's
·Work closely with shared service function to ensure transaction reporting is accurate and timely
·Prepare budget, forecasts, and 5 year plan
·Ad-hoc analysis from both finance and the rest of the business as required.
·Newly/Recently Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
·An individual focussed on delivering results with a drive for continual improvements
·Strong interpersonal communication skills (both written and oral) with the ability to work with different disciplines and varying degrees of seniority
·A clear thinker, able to analyse, understand and explain financial and business information and performance
·Well organised with an ability to prioritise effectively and deliver work of a high standard to a tight deadline
·Adaptable and hard-working
·Willingness to get stuck-in' and support the business and financial teams
·Good attention to detail
·Strong Excel and IT skills, experience of using Oracle/Hyperion would be advantageous
