The Finance Analyst (International and Planning) will play an important role in the finance team and will support the business in delivering its ambitious international growth objectives.
The role will support the team by delivering the planning processes for budgets and forecasts across the business to include P&L, capital expenditure and related metrics. They will also produce the monthly rolling forecast and formal quarterly forecasts to Group FP&A.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- The production of monthly reports to the Management Board and on historic and forecast financial performance
- Delivery of all new international market financial modelling and appraisal and reporting to partners.
The key customers are the Finance Director, Global Business Development Director and FP&A Director.
Knowledge and Skills:
Graduate-calibre finalist or newly qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
Strong forecasting skills in a multi-site/ multi-unit business
Excellent Excel modelling skills
Strong PowerPoint skills
Significant experience of developing and producing financial and operational reporting packs
Commercial finance experience supporting an operational director or business unit
Experience of financial support to a multi-site retail or hospitality business.
Experience of capital appraisal techniques.
Experience in a B2B services or products business
Experience working in a consultancy on retail projects
Experience of forecasting and/or budgeting experience.
