A growing multi-million turnover organisation in Telford have a newly-created permanent job role for a dynamic and commercial management accountant to join their finance team.
Your new role
This role will report to, and support, a senior management accountant within a growing business entity, which has recently been bolstered by a contract win worth circa. £20m per annum; this is set to grow further with other tenders in the pipeline.You will support the management accountant to deliver all weekly and monthly reporting, you will assist with budgets and forecasts, analysing lines of data and ensuring you capture spend, monitor the budget and track changes. You will complete ad-hoc GL reconciliations, prepare month end contracts and prepare costings and budget documentation for new work.You will also create/update new models and reports using MS Excel and MS Access.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of analysing data to support with adding value and generating savings. You will need advanced MS Excel skills. You should ideally have had experience of MS Access and IT systems.
