ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are searching for a full time Finance Administrator to support our client, an award winning design and installation company based in Milton Keynes. This company is in a period of high growth and expansion, built on a strong foundation of successful projects and solutions which has allowed this team and business to thrive.

Due to the increase in business and projects in the pipeline, the Finance Director is in need of extra support, hence the creation of this exciting part-time position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Working closely with the Finance Director, the Financial Assistant will be responsible for liaising between the departments of the business, ensuring all accounts related tasks are dealt with in a timely and accurate manner. You will be an active member of the team, therefore, it will be imperative to demonstrate clear, accurate and efficient communication skills, to ensure continuity of business in the department throughout the week.

Day to Day Tasks will include:

-Project Costings - all new projects need to analysed with conclusions being reported to the FD.
-Supplier Invoicing - Uploading all supplier invoices using Sage 50 software.
-Administration - Printing, circulating all supplier invoices for sign-off/approval.
-Supplier Liaison - communicating with suppliers regarding payments, resolving queries, checking statements etc.
-Invoicing - Raising credit notes and invoices as requested.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for somebody who has worked in a similar role and is looking to join a family oriented company, who are supportive, professional and expanding, whilst working in modern contemporary offices, representative of the design sector.

This can be an opportunity for someone starting out in their finance career with an excellent knowledge of Excel.
