Finance Administrator (Temporary)Newton AbbotRef: AWP/13017/2My client, a successful local training provider, are seeking an experienced Finance Administrator to join them on a temporary basis.
With the opportunity for the role to evolve into a permanent position for the right individual, this would suit an experienced Finance Administrator who is available at short notice.
Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will assume responsibility for the following:
· Process invoices, allocated to nominal codes, invoices include overheads, professional fees, external agencies, self-employed trainers.· Some complexity with invoices from training practitioners and fees need to be offset against course costs· Circa 50 invoices per week, used two screens to copy and paste information from invoices in high level of detail· Ability to split costs across nominals· New suppliers have new processes which includes PO's· Ensuring each invoice is authorised, managers have control over their own budgets.· Identify anomalies, liaise with Managers and suppliers to resolve queries· Pay within the supplier termsIn order to be considered for the position, you must be available immediately, have proven and significant Purchase Ledger and General Ledger experience with a strong working knowledge of accruals and prepayments.
