Final View Quality Inspectors required for leading international manufacturer.

Long term temporary opportunity with potential permanent opportunities available.

Job Title: Final View Quality Inspector weekend shift

Location: Gloucestershire

Hourly rate: PAYE TEMP £16.16 - £16.73 per hour including shift allowance
LCC £21.14 - £21.89

Hours of Work: weekend shift

Friday, Sat, Sun 6pm - 6am

Skills & Requirements :

Relevant experience in a highly-regulated manufacturing, engineering environment.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Excellent computer system knowledge
Experience of working to tight dead lines
To actively participate in continuous improvements and 5S initiatives
Team player with flexibility to support assembly
Capable of fully understanding and working to process and manufacturing instructions and specifications (Manufacturing technical drawings) and to quality standards

Day to day duties :
Monitoring and ensuring that the quality of high value components conformed to engineering drawings and specifications
Reading drawings and specifications and interpreting them into the required measurement and inspection processes
Communicating at shop floor level and with Manufacturing Engineers and sub-contractors to provide feedback on quality issues and assist with problem resolution
Carried out a range of inspection processes; First Off, Final View, & Goods Receipt
Accurate measurement of complex components using a Co-ordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and electronic and mechanical measuring equipment
Recording dimensions for customer traceability
