We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician in the South Saxony-Anhalt area to perform both preventative maintenance as well as repairs on fitness equipment.

As the Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Independently isolate and resolve issues raised by customers.
  • Troubleshoot issues and effectively complete repairs.
  • Perform preventive maintenance checks and adjustments.
  • Perform product repairs and maintenance at fitness facilities and in-home.
  • Provide outstanding customer service in educating customers on product repair, maintenance and usage.
  • Ensure hardware, software and network of the product is functioning properly after each service.
  • Properly record and replenish the inventory and spare parts in the service vehicle.

The successful Field Service Technician will have the following related skills / experience:

  • Associate degree in Electronics, Technical School certification as an Electronics Technician, or equivalent technical training preferred but not required
  • Current valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Good problem-solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot problems and think on your feet
  • Moderate computer skills, capable of excellent documentation and tracking data
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. with assistance
  • Flexible schedule required Monday through Friday, with availability to work weekends and holidays as needed by mutual agreement
