Field Service Supervisor- UK and Global Travel

Elevation Recruitment Group’s Engineering & Manufacturing Services Division are working with a successful and growing manufacturing business recruit a dynamic Field Service Supervisor within their Aftermarket Engineering Services team. The role will involve extensive global travel as well as working at their base of operations in Sheffield.

Our client is looking for an energetic, ambitious and driven Field Service Supervisor to support their growth and development by providing effective leadership and management of specialist mechanical service teams and ensuring every job is delivered in a professional and profitable manner with a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities of the Field Service Supervisor role will include:

• Hands on management of the Engineering Service Teams
• To ensure daily activities such as costings, risk assessments, method statements, and customer reporting are completed
• Develop the Engineering Team skillset for optimum flexibility
• Ensure all safety protocols are prepared for and followed
• Demonstrate high-level mechanical skills and capabilities in the testing, fault finding and repair of operational equipment, including high-pressure pneumatic and hydraulic systems, vacuum and pump assemblies etc.
• Be an effective interface and assistance to internal and external stakeholders

We would be keen to speak with experienced Field Service Supervisors with the following skills and experience:

• Mechanical Engineering Level 3 qualification
• Implementation of two-valve isolation / LOTO
• Experience in the calibration of pressure relief valves
• Strong team leadership and people management skills
• 5+ years of experience in relevant aspects of mechanical test, inspection, and refurbishment services within factory and site services environments
