Field Service Manager - Medical Devices - Cambridge

A high-growth medical devices company in Cambridge are looking for a senior field service engineer or manager to create to a new technical support team.

As the Field Service Manager, you will be charged with the creation and development of a brand-new teams of engineers, this will include recruitment and direct line management. Your team will be responsible for the installation, repair and service maintenance processes for the company's highly complex medical device, initially across Europe but with a global remit soon predicted.

As you will be building the team from scratch you will have influence on key decisions such as technical support and maintenance strategy as well as a direct line to the R&D team with the aim of improving functionality and reliability.

To be considered for this role, the company are ideally looking for Field Service Engineers that have prior hands-on experience with the service and maintenance of medical devices. A solid grounding in engineering from a degree or relevant qualifications would be beneficial as would be knowledge of electromechanical systems.
