Field Service Engineer
Salary IRO £27K DOE
TM Resourcing (Technical & Engineering Division) are currently recruiting for a leading supplier of compressed air products that services to a wide variety of industrial sectors.
Due to good growth the company is now looking to add an experienced Field Service Engineers to its organisation. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing & well established business.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and motivated, committed to providing high-levels of customer service. Logical, analytical and methodical approach to problem solving with excellent attention to detail. Enjoys working on own initiative, contributing and making a difference to a small team. Self-starter who is happy to work alone with remote support. Ability to remain calm under pressure and not be deterred in difficult circumstances. Capable of building strong relationships both externally and internally, with a conscientious, flexible, 'can do' attitude.
It is essential you have experience in the compressed air industry, ideally having worked previously for a compressed air distributor or similar.
Carrying out repairs, service, installs etc. to all types of air compressors and associated Equipment.
Provide in- territory technical support on all compressors, dryers and air tools. Deliver service contract work and basic fault finding.
Take lead technician responsibility for ongoing technical issues. Provide reports and resource plans as required
Liaise with the customer to ensure good communication and understanding of required action plans
Identify root causes of problems and communicate learnings and corrective actions
Conform to all site Health and Safety requirements
As required by the Helpdesk, attend and complete standard breakdown, installation and technical work
Provide technical assistance to sales in order to assist with potential new business
Demonstrate machine operation to Customers
Installation experience also required for compressors, dryers air receivers and pipework.
Own tools and experience will be required.
To take responsibility for after sales support in and around the North West of England, with a broad responsibility for both technical and commercial activities
The right candidate would ideally live in Cheshire/Manchester or within a 20 mile surrounding area.
