Field Service Engineer required to travel mainly in the UK but occasionally abroad.
Your new company

The UK operation is based in Milton Keynes and is home to the companies most comprehensive service and support program. They are now looking to increase this further by employing a skilled Field Service Engineer.
Your new role
You will provide Field based service support for all products in the UK. Responsible for providing customers with high quality after sales support, using your judgement in making the correct commercial & technical decisions. You'll produce fast effective maintenance and service in line with product requirements. You will be erecting and dismantling of products as well as carrying out servicing and warranty inspections in line with manufacturers specifications. You will need to accurately diagnose and rectify faults which could be electrical, mechanical or hydraulic in nature.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience as a Field Service Engineer working on heavy duty equipment and plant. You MUST have experience of working at height. Your technical expertise will cover electrical, hydraulic and mechanical skills and you will have been working in this environment for at least 4 years. You have a full UK driving license and can work on your own initiative and plan your workload. Health & Safety is a priority in your approach to tasks and you are able to deal with customers efficiently and solve problems.
What you'll get in return
You will be offered a salary of £30k to £38k. The amount offered will depend on your level of experience in the industry. If you are offered the lower end of the salary then training will be given and your salary will increase along with your skill set.
