Our client is actively seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team in South Yorkshire.

In this role, you'll install, commission, and maintain robotics-based electromechanical systems used in factory and process automation.

Key Responsibilities of this Field Service Engineer role:

• Install, commission, and maintain robotic and automation systems at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, providing on-site support and maintenance.
• Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
• Provide customer training, technical documentation, and post-installation support.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant safety and industry standards.

Required Experience for this Field Service Engineer role, based in South Yorkshire:

• Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer, ideally within robotics or industrial automation.
• Strong understanding of electrical and control systems (experience with EPLAN is an advantage).
• Hands-on experience with industrial control cabinets, PLCs, and automation systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer-facing communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites in the UK and occasionally overseas.
• Strong commitment to quality, safety, and technical excellence.
