Field Service Engineer – Medical Devices

Permanent

Sussex / Surrey

£27,000 - £35,000 Basic

A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a successful medical manufacturing company.

If you have experience carrying out service and maintenance to medical devices, refrigerators and freezers within a medical environment, this role could be perfect for you!

The Company

A successful and leading engineering company who specialise in the design & manufacture of equipment for use in the medical industry.  

Role & Responsibilities

A mobile role carrying out Routine Maintenance, Calibration and Repair of equipment such as:

Blood Banks, Plasma Freezers, Pharmacy fridges and Freezers within Hospitals, Doctors Surgery’s, Chemists and other customer’s site

Person Specification

Min 2 years’ previous experience as a Field Service Engineer.

Experience of working on Medical Devices is preferred but not essential

Preference will be given to an engineer with a basic understanding of refrigeration

F-Gas qualification is preferred but not essential

Relevant engineering qualification preferred

Good hands on approach.

Confident working at client sites such as laboratories and hospitals

Confident working individually.

Excellent communication skills

Basic Maths

Team player

 

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday 08.00am-17.00pm but a flexible approach essential.

No weekend, bank holiday, or on call work


Package

Basic salary £27,000 - £35,000 Depending on experience

Pay review after 6-month probation

20 days Annual holiday (plus Bank Holidays)
