A background in Trade sales, specifically DIY / Retail / Wholesalers would be highly advantageous but is not essential. More important is drive, tenacity and a proven sales background.
The appointed person will cover a geographical area of North West / West Midlands region and will be home office based. A company car (or car allowance), mobile and laptop will be provided.
Within the geographical area the remit will involve contacting and promoting the sale of products to DIY outlets, retailers, e-commerce distributors, social housing providers, audio / entertainment system providers etc.
The successful candidate will be supported by an effective Marketing team and provided with thorough product training. The company will commit fully to facilitating the success of the job holder. There will be some travel occasion to the North East based company H Q.
Starting salary will be in the region of £25k with a very realistic OTE £30k year one, rising to £28k with service and regular reviews on an ongoing basis. A company car or car allowance is provided. There is lots of opportunity to develop your career as the business continues to expand.
