Field Sales Manager - Food / Packaging - Midlands - SU/IM306
Salary / benefits: c£30-40k+ dependent upon experience.

Owing to further successful growth, a leading provider of vacuum pumps and equipment to the FMCG and Packaging industries is now looking for a Field Sales Manager in the Midlands.
Working from home, you will be responsible for new and existing customers in your designated territory.
You will regularly visit existing and new customers to develop and grow the relationships. Ideally visiting customers on a minimum of four days per week.
You will represent my client’s products, complex solutions and services primarily to the Food, Beverage and Packaging sectors. This is a consultative sale, requiring you to have a very good knowledge of the company and competitor products.
You will manage the full sales process from initial enquiry through demonstration and decision making to final purchase, process purchase order and on to final delivery, to ensure total customer satisfaction.
Wherever necessary you will proactively deal with comments and complaints from customers as they arise, recording issues thoroughly, and suggesting appropriate solutions to their issues according to the particular circumstances.
In addition to customer visits you will attend exhibitions and trade shows to demonstrate the latest products and to review competitor products.
As the successful candidate you will have experience selling to Food, Beverages and Packaging. Also you should have experience in technical sales, ideally selling vacuum pumps, UHV equipment or similar.
To be successful in this role, you will hold a minimum of a Degree in a Business or Engineering Discipline.
Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the UK, and hold a valid UK Driving Licence. Copies of Passport / Visa will be requested for verification.
