Are you a new business hunter with the ability work autonomously and with flexibility?

We are currently working with a leading technology provider selling solutions in to the Hospitality and Restaurant industries. With over 1000 staff and 30 years of history they have now established themselves to be the number one in their market with a presence throughout the UK. This role is working under the very modern software arm to the business providing software solutions in to these markets to help increase efficiencies, reduce costs and drive sales.

This simple to use software platform is already well established in the UK and you will be working as a business development manager to bring on board new clients. This is an autonomous role, working from home with regular meetings with management so a company car allowance is provided. You will need to be self-motivated and proactive to be successful in this role.

You will be selling an industry leading software solution with a shorter sales cycle and lower AOV so anyone that has sold in to Hospitality / Restaurant / Leisure would be a good fit. You will have the help of an internal sales team as well as dedicated marketing campaigns specifically designed for your region. The patch covered for this role is the North West.

Career progression is expected and the average person stays with this business for a minimum of 5 years. If you are a new business hunter with a polished and professional approach and the relevant background experience this is the chance to join a true market leader in their field.

Key Responsibilities

Field Sales Executive

  • Developing long-term UK based customer relationships within hospitality industry companies.
  • Utilising diverse forms of market research to generate new customer business.
  • Translating leads into product sales, ability to articulate proposition to potential customers.
  • Develop market awareness of the hospitality / restaurants market
  • Prepare realistic and detailed business proposals and tailored solutions for customers.
  • Develop effective, constructive and collaborative relationships with all relevant company departments to develop future account strategies.
  • Utilize daily the CRM system to record activity and progress against goals and objectives.
  • Strive to achieve or exceed given monthly sales targets
  • Delivery against agreed quarterly sales targets.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to translate technical product features into customer benefits.
  • Experience of identifying decision-makers and building long-term, successful relationships.
  • Planning and organisational skills

Required skills, experience

Field Sales Executive

  • Strong sales focus with the desire to win business and earn commission
  • A desire to work within a dynamic, agile environment with exposure to new technologies
  • Taking responsibility for each sale, from lead generation through to close
  • Experience selling SaaS / Software Solutions or experience selling in to the hospitality industry
  • Dynamic, focused and with a clear will to succeed
  • Is a hunter, comfortable with generating business from scratch and experienced in building pipelines and driving opportunities.
  • A disciplined approach to Time and Pipeline management
  • Graduate ideally however not essential
  • Has a hands-on mentality, is self-motivated, however likes to work as part of an ambitious team.
