The Company: -
My client offers a wide range of services including design, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, training and service. They design complete plants from scratch so that each plant is tailor made to the customers exact requirements. The whole process is delivered in-house which gives a high level of control of their projects to deliver new projects on time.
The Role: -
My client is currently looking to expand their team and are now searching for an experienced Field Sales / Business Development Executive, preferably with a background in Plant Hire, Construction and Building Merchants, Wholesalers and Suppliers or Surface Finishing Industries.
The role will cover the North West but you will be expected to travel out to potential clients across the UK when required to promote the company's products and services. Although you will be working from an existing portfolio of clients, you will seek to create brand new accounts, through active networking and outwardly thinking towards any potential New Business opportunities and be responsible for the ongoing management of these accounts. You will be set realistic and achievable targets for development of new business and management of accounts which will all build towards a solid and sustainable bonus structure.
Through expert and professional handling of customers you will assist them with their needs, giving a solution based approach, delivering customer service excellence and adding value to every transaction
The candidate will need to be a self-motivated and passionate individual that has a true drive to seek New Business opportunities and match the customer expectations through our expansive product base and technical knowledge. It is essential that the person applying is a resilient individual that can take a knock back when unable to close a sale without losing the motivation to continue in the sales drive. You will need to be flexible to a changeable day, outwardly thinking and able to learn new product information to clearly pass information to customers and liaise between customers and the company.
The person applying for this role will need fantastic communication skills and able to speak with a large range of people from various backgrounds throughout the work day. You must have a proven high level of sales with the ability to close sales within a New and Existing Business environment while maintaining a focus on the Gross and Net Profit Margins.
Anyone applying for this role will need a high level of technical knowledge and understanding within the Industries mentioned with a strong track record of successful sales and growth.
- Candidates must have B2B / B2C field sales experience within a construction, plant hire, surface finishing or similar industry.
- Great at establishing a need and then offering a solution by following a sales process through to a close
- You will be a great New Business Hunter as well as having excellent account management skills
- Have a stable career history and a proven track record of success.
- Will be customer focused and great at building trust and relationships
- Self-motivated, smart, professional with excellent communication skills
