Our Malvern based client is looking to recruit a Field Sales Executive to join their Team on a full time permanent basis. Working closely with the internal sales team, you will manage existing accounts and proactively seek new business opportunities within the Midlands and South West.
The company are looking for a dynamic, strategic individual with field sales experience, previous experience in technical sales would be an advantage but not essential. The role is selling B2B into industry suppliers and distributors. The role will be split working on the road and at the company offices in Malvern, the amount of time spent in the office/on the road will be approximately 3-4 days per week with 1-2 days in the office.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to develop and establish the field sales role, the company are keen to offer progression for this candidate into sales management if desired.
*You will be responsible for developing both new and existing relationships within a defined geographical territory
*Working together with your dedicated telesales consultant, following up established leads provided and attending pre booked appointments.
*Lead generation/cold calling via phone and through email.
*Up-selling to existing customers; offering other products from the existing range
*You will work closely with our client base to provide them with support. You will actively promote new and existing products, services and update brochures and material samples for clients.
*You will maintain an active presence with existing and potential clients, establishing regular rounds to ensure they are visited at regular intervals.
*You will provide product training to clients to improve their understanding and assist in marketing.
*Work effectively with all internal departments to ensure customer needs are met
*You will be required to produce reports, source new business opportunities and report to the MD regularly.
What we are looking for:
*A proven track record of successful field sales experience
*The ability to self-manage your workload efficiently and effectively.
*A supportive, approachable and helpful attitude.
*The desire to settle into the role long term, with the potential to eventually manage the sales team.
*A clean, current driving license and willingness to travel (the role is field based)
Car allowance available or company car scheme available dependant on preference
All mileage expenses at a rate of 45 per mile
Uncapped commission paid monthly in arrears based on sales
Commission on offer immediately, highly achievable targets have been set
No KPI's, self set targets
Laptop/ Mobile Phone
Full product training will be provided
