You will be joining one of their the market-leading brand delivering insight, news, comment, data, information, and inspiration to this specific sector across all platforms. The brand is comprised of the monthly magazine and - the digital platform delivering content and video optimised for the mobile audience - plus weekly newsletters and an established annual report. It also delivers a portfolio of events to its community including the sell-out Awards and other events.

• Develop a consultative relationship with clients for sustainable revenue growth
• Build revenue from existing and new clients to exceed targets
• Implement innovative digital campaigns and drive digital revenue growth
• Drive commercial engagement with the brand’s portfolio of F2F activities
• Represent the Company's brand values - Progressive, Passionate, Responsible & Trusted
• Collaborate positively with allied brands to deliver wider business benefit

Key responsibilities
• Manage accounts, generate new business
• Sell digital and event F2F sponsorship to exceed team revenue targets
• Produce and manage cross media solutions
• Explore and maximise social media platforms
• Ensure accuracy of all advertising and inventory bookings
• Develop market and competitor knowledge
• Fulfil sales standards for meetings and call levels
• Attend exhibitions, conferences and events as required
• Work in close liaison with all departments and support teams
• Maintain good collaborative working relationships with wider brands
• Network at events and within the industry

Candidate profile
• Outstanding proven cross-media sales ability
• Presentation, negotiation and closing skills
• Strong numeracy, written and verbal communication skills
• Accurate forecasting
• Experienced in Excel, Powerpoint and CRM systems
• Ability to create and deliver marketing solutions
• Good team member, collaborative work ethic
• Motivated, bright, passionate and articulate
• Relevant experience in B2B media sales
• Charismatic and enthusiastic about sales
• Passionate and driven
• Excellent communicator both in person and on the phone
• B2B experience essential
• Consultative approach
• Experienced in:
• Cross selling
• Digital sales
• Agency sales
• Display advertising sales
• Event sponsorship sales
