My client is a hugely successful and popular company within the Public Sector who provide an extensive range of social and physical activities to both their new and existing members across the country such as: Football, Athletics, Go-Karting, Tennis, Badminton, Golf or getting involved in local events such as Murder Mystery dates, Poker Nights, Shopping Trips, Visiting Local Attractions & much much more!
We are looking to recruit a Field Sales Executive on the basis of an initial 6-month contract to cover long term sick leave in the North East. This is very much a mix of generating new leads to attract new members to the business, building effective relationships with each call, networking with your clients etc. You will play a vital role in supporting the achievement of sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Research, identify, contact and qualification of sales leads
- Liaise effectively with the Telesales and Volunteer Support Team and local volunteer groups to optimise membership recruitment activity and sales. Represent the company at exhibitions, events and demonstrations, to effectively sell and market all aspects of the business.
- Attend team meetings and shares best practice with colleagues; recording membership sales information and ensuring regular contact with the National Sales Manager to maintain accurate records and reports of activity.
- To build long lasting relationships with key external decision makers generating on-going sales opportunities. To establish and build effective working relationships with colleagues, customers and key business stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have at least 1-2 years of B2B Sales experience within a similar environment (i.e. sales, sports, leisure, membership organisation, voluntary or public sector).
