As the Renewable Energy sector continues to grow, our client are in a prime position to utilise their expertise and current market position to grow with it.

As a Field Installation Engineer you will be working on site with clients across the UK, and offshore on wind farms across Europe, installing a range IT, Networks and Communications equipment.

A background in IT, Telecomms, Marine or the Armed Forces would offer a potentially suitable foundation to move in to this role.

Working with this leading IT solutions provider, you will have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems, IP LAN & WAN networking, email, DNS. As Investors In People, this business is recognised for developing their staff, so genuine career progression opportunities are available.

Desired experience:
Experience with internal or outsourced IT, preferably in a similar role
Good communication skills
A 'can do' attitude to learn new skills, and solve clients issues
Flexible, willing to travel, with a full driving license
Knowledge of MS Operating Systems and Applications

Desired qualifications
CompTIA A+ and CompTIA N+
Any current Microsoft qualification and/or Computer or IT based degree

Due to the broad spectrum of technologies supplied, it is really important that you are focused and enthusiastic to learn. Training is provided on internal processes and technologies.
