About the role

You will play an integral part of the core Field Services Engineering team, performing Assure and Provisioning activities in support of core network and Vodafone customer solutions.

You will be expected to join an out-of-hours standby (Vodafone terminology) rota.

The purpose of this role is to install, commission and maintain customer solutions to Vodafone standards. Locate and fix complex faults at network and customer sites as part of a team or individually, restoring service within the SLA. You will communicate with internal and external customers and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in providing service to customers and drive forward to resolution and analyse system/platforms management Information from Core Network and customer data and take action to resolve any highlighted issues. You will be working with a range of telecoms test equipment/technologies.

Living in a commutable distance to customer sites in North West London is imperative, due to client SLA’s & the capability to meet urgent escalations.


Ability to work both in a team and on your own efficiently and effectively

Ability to work in a focused manner under pressure to meet tight deadlines

Ability to manage own workload to best meet the demands of the business


Adaptability and the ability to learn new skills quickly


Ability to interrogate/fault find/install routers.

Ability to interact with customers

Field engineer experience

Full driving license

Cisco/Transmission exposure
