The Role
As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, service, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of fire and security systems. This role offers excellent opportunities for career development, with access to specialist training to help you progress into a complete multi-skilled Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, commission, maintain, and repair CCTV, Access Control, Intruder, and Fire systems.
- Work with both open and closed protocol systems.
- Carry out structured cabling installations.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
- Provide a high level of service and professionalism to customers.
The Person
We are looking for a Security Engineer with a background in IP CCTV, Intruder, Access Control, and Networking systems.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in CCTV / Intruder Systems installation and commissioning.
- Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems.
- Previous experience in the electronic security sector.
- Understanding of system integration with Access Control, Intelligence, and Life Safety Systems.
- Good knowledge of electrical principles (e.g., measuring voltage, current drain).
- Basic IP networking knowledge and solid IT competence.
- Familiarity with current industry standards.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Valid UK Driver’s License.
- Flexible approach to working hours and locations.
