The Role

As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, service, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of fire and security systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Install, commission, maintain, and repair CCTV, Access Control, Intruder, and Fire systems.
• Work with both open and closed protocol systems.
• Carry out structured cabling installations.
• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
• Provide a high level of service and professionalism to customers.

The Person

We are looking for a Security Engineer with a background in IP CCTV, Intruder, Access Control, and Networking systems.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience in CCTV / Intruder Systems installation and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems.
• Previous experience in the electronic security sector.
• Understanding of system integration with Access Control, Intelligence, and Life Safety Systems.
• Good knowledge of electrical principles (e.g., measuring voltage, current drain).
• Basic IP networking knowledge and solid IT competence.
• Familiarity with current industry standards.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Valid UK Driver’s License.
• Flexible approach to working hours and locations.
