My client is a leading light in the field of commercial AV engineering. The company has a strong focus dealing with a variety of different businesses throughout the UK which includes prestigious customers in the leisure & fitness sector, the hospitality sector and the retail sector.

In order to support this client base the company is seeking an additional AV ENGINEER to work in the midlands and on occasion further afield as required. 

Based ideally around the Peak disrtict area (Stoke, Derby, Macclesfield, Nottingham, Sheffield) you will work from home you will offer support to the company's client base predominantly (but not exclusively)  in the Midlands (i.e North of Birmingham and South of Leeds), upgrading and maintain their AV and conference systems as required. This could mean working with freelance contractors on new installations and major upgrades or working on maintenance and repair of existing installations on your own.

In the main this work will be carried out during the day however a degree of flexibility will be required due to the nature of the work.

To be considered for the vacancy you would need to demonstrate:

• Significant and recent experience in the AV industry in system installation, configuring and maintenance

• Knowledge of any proprietary AV system controls such as Crestron, AMX, Control4 etc. (although training can be given)

• Excellent customer facing ability

• Clean drivers licence with no more than three penalty points
