We are currently working with the market leader in providing safety and protection equipment across the UK and oversea's. They provide safety equipment such as clothing, footwear, gloves, persoanl protection, hygience solutions, work place products, signs and even training across Health and Safety. The portfolio stretches to over 15000 products and over 60 branches across the UK.

The company are well respected in their field and pride themselves on delivering an exceptional service to all their customers.

The Role

They are recruiting for a dynamic Account Manager who has the capability to manage existing clients of the business as well as developing dormant accounts within a defined territory made up of Cambridge and Bedfordshire. You will targeting industries not limited to but such as Manufacturing, Food, Construction, engineering and many more. and the surrounding area. The split of the role is 50% Account Management and 50% New Business.

You will have a good understanding of managing a sales process and overachieving against target. The ideal candidate needs to be positive, personable and be an excellent communicator with a track record of delivering excellent sales results without compromising on customer service. You are expected to conduct around 10 meetings per week, so a consultative approach to sales is a must.

The Person

The ideal candidate will have experience within field sales and be able to provide evidence of their achievements from current and previous roles.

Our client is looking for bright, enthusiastic, proactive sales professionals who can play a key role in developing and managing the current portfolio of accounts.

You will be based remotely so they are looking for a resilient, driven self-starter who can really grow and make the territory there own.
