Our client has exciting opportunities for multiple Female Support Workers to join their team based in Thurrock. There are full time (37.5) and part time (15+) hours available on a permanent basis. You will be offered a competitive salary of £17,063 per annum (pro rata for part time hours) - £8.75 per hour.
The Female Support Workers role;
Our client is seeking to recruit active, vibrant, happy support workers to support their customers with meeting all of their daily living needs. Our client has Registered Care services in Grays Thurrock, Chadwell St Mary & Corringham.
They provide 24 hour support across 7 days per week. Staff wanting awake night considered but must be available to attend training & supervision during the day when required. Corringham service requires staff to carry out Sleep in duties. They support adults who have learning & physical disability with all of their daily living needs. The scheme includes specialist equipment, including hoists, in order to transfer between wheelchairs, baths, showers and chairs.
Day shifts will be a mixture of Early & late shifts.
The ideal Female Support Workers will have the below skills and experience:
Previous experience would be an advantage but not essential as successful applicants will receive thorough training and an induction. You’ll need a sense of humour, an approachable manner and the resilience to cope with a busy, challenging and emotive job. You must also have sound values & good working & personal ethics.
You will provide a high standard of care and support to the customers with their day to day needs both at home and within the community. You should have a person focused approach, a positive attitude and ability to encourage choice, dignity, and privacy, respect and community participation for the customers we support.
