The Agricultural team based at Stradbroke in Suffolk is made up of our team of vets, fields staff, technical and support staff working together to ensure that our supply chain from beginning to end operates within the highest standards of welfare, quality and efficiency.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Feed Assistant to join our Technical team based at the Stradbroke office, reporting to the Feed Supply Manager. The overall purpose of this role is to enable efficient feed order placement by farmers within the Tulip Ltd supply chain and to support the Feed Supply Manager and the wider Technical team with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of all aspects of Tulip Ltd feed procurement.

Key Responsibilities & Main Tasks:

Day to day feed ordering
Liaison with farmers on feed deliveries / recoveries / complaints
Delivered price checking
Raw Material cost book and associated raw material and uptake report administration
Dealing with aspects of raw material purchases, where required
Liaison with the Feed Supply Manager and those involved with feed purchasing to ensure purchasing of raw materials is carried out smoothly and effectively
Administration work to support the wider Technical team, where required
Management of Technical data collation / databases, where required

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Customer service experience
Experience of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft packages
