Fast Responder, Fixed Term Contract for 6 months

Reports to: Director of Services

Location: London

Salary: £41,733 – £49,218 pa pro rota

Hours: 37.5 per week, 6months fixed contract starting 01.01.2022

About the Charity: 

Over the last seven years, the number of autistic pupils excluded from schools in England has more than doubled. 

The charity is piloting a new and unique service to schools, trialing crisis response to provide specialist immediate intervention, support, and wrap-around services as required. 

They are seeking an experienced BCBA (or candidates with significant experience of Behaviour Analysis in education) to be their Fast Responder. Full induction and training specific to this role will be given.  

The role is being funded by City Bridge Trust, the City of London Corporation’s charity funder, which gives out over £25 million ever year to good causes across the capital.  

The successful candidate will have experience working in Key Stages 2 and 3 in a range of settings (including mainstream education). The charity are seeking a qualified Behaviour Analyst who has knowledge and experience of working with support networks in education and with professional teams who typically support autistic children. 

The role will be based at the London Charity offices in Vauxhall but will require significant travel. 

The contract may extend beyond the six-month contract dependent on the success of the pilot.
