Fast Fit Centre Depot Manager

Salary: DOE circa £35,000 - £40,000
Hours: Monday - Friday 08.30 - 17.30 & Saturday 08.30 - 13.30

A vacancy has arisen with our Clients Fast-Fit Centre for Depot Manager.

Our Clients aim is to have vehicles back on the road promptly whilst delivering complete customer satisfaction and working within the company’s safety standards. Aiming to guide and mentor all members of staff ensuring all employees are trained to a competent level of working.

The principal accountabilities of the position are:

1. Ensure the operation and daily running of the depot and the employees is kept to a high standard.
2. Play an essential role in the Depot’s targets including key performance targets whilst managing the team to deliver results in line with KPI’s and analysing data to monitor performance and plan improvements. Ensure adequate training and mentoring is in place. Prepare and submit various KPI reports as and when requested.
3. Deliver excellent customer service by creating and fostering a positive experience and ensuring that all work carried out, is in line with the Company Policies and Procedures and in a timely, controlled and recorded manner. Ensure that all stock levels are maintained to an adequate level.
4. Maintain accurate documentation in line with company procedures.
5. Maximise workflow through the workshop to achieve efficiencies
6. Promote effective and efficient standards of work regarding all aspects of maintenance (tyre checks, servicing, MOT, etc.), in order to comply with transport legislation, maintenance manuals, company policy and procedures, Health & Safety legislation and or any other legal requirements. Ensure all staff receives a full induction and regular training whilst ensuring that all H&S requirements are adhered to.
7. Maintenance and management of Company Vehicles where applicable.
8. Manage absence, Overtime and timekeeping in line, where applicable, with HR policies and procedures. Have a general understanding of HR, HSEQ and finance. Manage the implementation of HR and HSEQ policies and procedures where relevant.

The successful candidate will also meet the following criteria:

•Computer literate, knowledge of Microsoft Office essential
•Experience of product terminology essential
•Experienced Mechanical Knowledge, with a fast fit/main dealer back ground is preferable
•Knowledge of employment law and health & safety is also desirable
•A full UK driving licence is essential
•High level of accuracy and numeracy
•Strong analytical and problem solving skills
•Experience in setting up and measurement of KPI’s
•Excellent communication skills, demonstrating confidence, tact and a persuasive manner
