Sales Account Manager:

A fantastic Opportunity has arisen for a Sales Account Manager to join a manufacturing company specialising in Jersey and Knit, supplying the UK and European High Street Retailers & Major Brands.


Home based with UK-wide coverage, some international travel may be required as the role progresses – Reporting to the Marketing Director. Overnight travel to Glasgow head office will also be required.

The Role/Key Responsibilities:

• Business Development - create new relationships with potential clients and develop existing customer accounts, seeking new opportunities to grow the business
• Managing and maintaining own customer accounts
• Attend customer meetings
• Working closely with company merchandisers and designers
• Responsible for the product from start to finish, ensuring the customer brief is met
• Negotiation and finalising pricing
• Travel is required

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven account management in private label business/Garment industry is absolutely essential for this role
• Previous experience with suppliers is essential
• Used to working in a high volume fast paced environment
• Strong understanding of the critical path process
• Proficient IT skills
• Strong communicator in all aspects
• Able to manage own diary and travel arrangements therefore organisation is a must
• Self- motivated with a positive attitude

Competitive salary based on experience circa £40-£45k + Car allowance + annual bonus structure
