Farries Ward Clinical Sister/ Charge Nurse

An exciting opportunity to join an established and dynamic team on Farries Ward has arisen. We are looking for an experienced, professional and caring Clinical Sister/Charge Nurse to support the Ward Manager in enabling the Nursing Team to deliver excellent care in a supportive and friendly environment.

Farries Ward has 22 beds, caring for General Medical and Haematology patients. You will work closely with both clinical teams when planning and delivering patient centred care.

Effective leadership skills are essential to be engaged and involved in developing a Nursing Team which delivers high standards of care. You will be supported in increasing your leadership skills and knowledge through a range of learning opportunities.

A commitment to excellence is required with a passion for driving change and improvements. You need excellent communication skills to work in partnership with the MDT, service users and patients to deliver safe and effective care.

You will need to demonstrate you can uphold the values and objectives of the Trust, which saw SWFT achieve ‘Outstanding’ in the last CQC inspection. The Farries Team holds strong values of care and compassion at the heart of our care delivery, which you will be required to support and strengthen.
