Are you a Teaching Assistant with SEND experience?

Primary & Secondary Schools in Worcestershire & Kidderminster are currently recruiting for a Special Educational Needs 1:1 Support Assistants.

We are inundated with support assistant roles coming through and are looking to fill these roles ASAP!

The roles will be working closely with students who have been diagnosed with Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues. We are looking for Teaching Assistants and Learning Mentors who can provide pupils with extra support to help them learn to interact and make accelerated progress in the classroom.

You will be working in highly reputable schools and will have the chance to be a part of friendly and committed staff teams.

These positions are extremely rewarding for the right people who will have a sense of achievement when leaving at the end of the day. You will be provided with commitment to professional development within supportive schools.

This roles are both full and part time and would suit people with a Level 3 qualification in childcare or a subject closely relating.

You will be:

*Preparing learning materials under the supervision of the teacher
*Working inside or outside the classroom on a 1:1 basis
*Adapting support according to needs
*Looking after the pupils physical, social and emotional welfare
*Creating a stimulating environment
*Providing feedback and giving information to help the class teacher
*Keeping records for review meetings

The ideal skills for this position:

*Excellent communication skills
*Literacy and numeracy skills
*The ability to deal with challenging behaviour
*Creative and practical skills for activities and displays
