A Family Support Worker is required for a 12 months contract based in Birmingham paying £13-£14 per hour.
Your new company
Due to a new partnership between Birmingham City Council and Hays, we are recruiting on behalf of a globally and nationally recognised organisation. You will be working in partnership with children, families and other professionals to provide family support services in a timely and responsive manner.
Your new role
You will based in an established children's centre in Birmingham to act as the lead professional for an allocated case load for children and families. You will be responsible for a high standard of case recording that is up to date, acting as a designated safeguarding professional within a family support service. You will need to manage and prioritise caseloads, ensuing appropriate escalation to line managers, you will attend case conferencing meetings sharing information when required.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will need to have previous experience working effectively and directly with children, young people and their families. Having experience of completing assessments, identifying safe guarding and support technics for each child and family.
