The Client

This vacancy is at an award winning law firm, ranked within the top 10 firms in Wales. Their office in Newport provides a range of services for businesses and individuals. A growing client base means that an opportunity has arisen for a Care Solicitor to join their Family team.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of Childcare matters
  • Provide appropriate advice and assistance to clients
  • Process LAA applications
  • Fuse the CCMS portal
  • To undertake advocacy where needed
  • To draft court documents
  • To keep up to date with changes in family law

Experience and skills required

  • A qualified Solicitor with post qualification experience in Family Law, specifically Childcare law
  • Experienced in the above duties
  • Excellent academics
  • IT literate
  • Ability to work under pressure
