Due to continued growth, the firm are now looking for a Family Solicitor to join one of their offices in Reading. Typical instructions include divorce, ancillary relief, prenuptial agreements, civil partnerships, cohabitation agreements and private children matters. Although this is an ideal position for a candidate looking to make a move on from a trainee or junior position, they should nonetheless be comfortably achieving Level 3 of the SRA's competency statement.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor with ideally, at least 2 years PQE, having focussed on privately funded family matters, ideally with an emphasis on Medium to high net worth cases. You should also have strong academics, excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive, personable attitude.
