Family Solicitor - 3-5 PQE

Posted 4 January by Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment Ended

My client is looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Family Lawyer to join their highly respected Family practice in Sidmouth. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join a market leading firm and contribute to their continued growth and market success.

The successful candidate will be expected to ensure the confidentiality and security of all firm and client documentation and/or information, ensure client and matter records are made and maintained in line with the firm's procedures and manage files diligently and review each regularly.

It is essential that you demonstrate compliance with internal policies and procedures, ethical standards and regulatory requirements and maintain regular contact with the client and keep him/her informed at all times. You must deal promptly with all client enquiries and correspondence, maintain effective communication with colleagues across the firm, as required and adhere to the Solicitor's Regulation Authority (SRA) Client Care directive and ensure the client care documentation is issued at the relevant time.

This role is suitable for candidates who are 3 to 5 PQE which they have established within Family Law but less experienced candidates will be considered if they possess the required skills. Experience of supervising more junior members of the team and supporting their development would be desireable.
