My client is a leading, full-service practice that has a unique opportunity for an experienced Family Paralegal to join a busy Family department on a permanent basis at their brand-new Guildford office. Salary circa £19,000 with opportunity to earn up to £24,000 with bonuses (details below).

This role would be well suited to an experienced paralegal looking for a new challenge. Initially you will be responsible for processing non-molestation orders and will have a target of one per day. If you hit this target, which is realistic and the minimum expected you will be rewarded with an extra £250 per month bonus which will see your salary increase to £21,000. If you process two orders per day you will be paid a £500 bonus per month resulting in an annual salary of £24,000.

The focus is initially on dealing with rapid influx of domestic violence work, however, once this has been processed you will gain experience in Children and Care work. You will be responsible for assisting partners and solicitors with their case load and gain hands on experience with fee earning tasks. Excellent ongoing training to develop your experience. There are opportunities to progress to eventually handling your own case load of family files.

The firm will offer support to do CILEX examinations which will include covering the cost of obtaining the same.

Working within a highly skilled and reputable team, you will assist the department and will be responsible for drafting, reviewing and updating precedents, and assisting fee earners with technical queries. There will also be the chance to take an active involvement in business development, aligning with the firm's ongoing development plans.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
* at least 1 year experience assisting in a Family and/or Children Law department as a paralegal

Highly desirable:
* LPC graduate
* LLB / GDL graduate
* Domestic Violence / non-molestation orders experience.
* Legal aid experience
