We currently have a vacancy for a Family Nurse Partnership Lead Nurse to take overall responsibility for the development and management of the Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) service across NHS Fife.
You will manage the continued roll out of the FNP programme from the current semi permanence phase to a permanent service and manage the expansion of FNP as a fully sustained service across Fife. A strong emphasis will be on using data from the current programmes to inform local priorities for the service. You will also lead and manage specific initiatives/developments from design to implementation to deliver on the national and local drivers for FNP and the broader early years agenda.
As well as the management of FNP you will also deputise for the Senior Manager for Children Community Children’s Services. This will involve directing the strategic planning of children’s health services to ensure a coherent, joint approach to service developments and redesign ensuring that services meet the needs of children and families in Fife in line with statutory requirements. You will also be responsible, in the absence of the senior manager, for supporting existing management structures by providing leadership to the children’s and young people health services including community based nursing, children and young people’s occupation therapy services and the child protection team.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills are essential for this post. You will also be required to demonstrate proven leadership skills and be proactive, creative and innovative in your approach.
