Family Law Solicitor to cover maternity leave

Job Description

Role : We require an assistant solicitor to cover maternity leave commencing mid/end February in a young modern team in a small, busy, niche family law practice in central Croydon. The firm acts exclusively for privately funded clients across all aspects of family law including divorce with particular emphasis on matrimonial finance/financial remedy, but also private law children matters and TOLATA.

Salary: Competitive, according to experience

Person specification: The ideal candidate will be NQ to 3 years’ PQE, with solid experience in private law children and matrimonial finance/financial remedy work, IT literate (including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel) and able to work in a close knit team, alongside the principal, as well as taking responsibility for managing their own case load. In addition the candidate should have solid academics, be client focused, with excellent communication skills, be commercially aware and be enthusiastic to expand and develop the firm’s profile.
