Family Focus Family Intervention Project Practice Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to help in the delivery of a targeted parenting, family intervention and outreach service to the community as part of a developing multi-agency Specialist Family Focus Team (SFFT).

You will lead a proactive, outcome-focused approach to the delivery of specialised family intervention and outreach services within a quality assured framework, managing and motivating staff to achieve improved and sustained outcomes for families with multiple needs. Your tasks will include acting as senior professional in assessment, planning and complex case management and working closely with all partners and stakeholders.

SFFT is at the heart of this authoritie's support & challenge to 'Troubled Families’ and is part of the early help adolescent offer , predominantly working with families, children and young people aged 8 - 17 years. In our recent Ofsted inspection of Children’s Services where this authoritie received an overall judgement of 'Good’, services for older children were described as 'excellent’ within an 'early help’ context and SFFT were highlighted for their approach and the positive impact they were having with the families they work with.…Our social care colleagues trust that we will offer the right intensive supports and 'grip’ the family and other professionals.

We are looking for ambitious qualified social workers who are interested in taking their first steps into management or who are experienced and enjoy frontline hand on management practice.

You’ll need to demonstrate your enthusiasm and skillset to manage experienced family outreach practitioners providing intense support through a whole family approach and be able to provide professional guidance and support in complex casework.
