Do you have experience reviewing FAIRS and working in a highly regulated industry?

If so, this position could be perfect for you! Our client is a global, leading precision component manufacturer primarily operating in the Aerospace sector. They manufacture precision engineered parts for aerospace customers (mainly precision fabrication and machining) and are looking for a Quality Technician (FAIR) to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in First Article Inspection within a highly regulated industry.

Job Description
  • Review of FAIR packs prior to internal / customer approval.
  • Raising of Data Cards prior to internal / customer approval.
  • To support the internal non-conformance process; raising rejects and ensuring all containment is captured.
  • To liaise closely with Engineering to ensure the smooth transition of new products.
  • To carry out calibration activities as required to support operations.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Experience working within a highly regulated environment/industry (aerospace, automotive, nuclear, oil & gas, rail etc)
  • Well-versed reviewing FAIRS (First Article Inspection Reports)
  • Positive attitude, with an open mind to learning new skills
