Faculty Lecturer in Software Development (Technical Apprenticeships) - London - minimum £45k pa

Are you an experienced IT Apprenticeships Assessor? Do you have experience of teaching or assessing IT to Level 3 and above? Are you looking to help the minds of tomorrow within your industry?

A role has become available with a leading provider of IT Skills Training. This role is being offered on a full time permanent basis, where you will do a mixture of Online support and Online Lectures, with work also being carried out on site in London.

Your role as Faculty Lecturer, specialising in software development, will be to teach across apprenticeship programmes which support learners in working towards completing their Digital Apprenticeships.We are looking for highly motivated education professionals with specialist practitioner experience in software development to bring high quality teaching and module leadership.

The role of the faculty lecturer is to develop and deliver engaging teaching and learning materials (across Levels 3 to 6) that ensure that learners receive a premium education and learning experience.

Lecturers will undertake a variety of duties including, but not restricted to:

- module leadership (authoring)

- managing learner cohorts

- teaching (primarily live, on line via the Adobe Connect platform, with a possible requirement for some face to face delivery)

- Faculty may also be required to support business development, program management and/or learner recruitment activities, such as attending client briefings and/or Business School open evenings

You will be a self-starter who can reach well informed and clear decisions with excellent organisation, communication and administration skills.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in teaching, training or Assessing Software Development at Level 3 or above
  • Degree or equivalent in relevant Computing subject area
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • A keen passion and desire to Inspire the IT Minds of Tomorrow
