A permanent position for a Factory Manager to join an expanding and forward-thinking manufacturer. To lead, manage and motivated a multi skilled workforce to achieve the highest standards, embrace continuous improvements, maintain and develop further the positive working environment, maximize productivity, minimize cost, and maintain quality.
As the Factory Manager, you will set performance targets and align resources to achieve these standards. Plan, manage and adjusts workload to optimize plant resources and meet scheduled production commitments to customers.
Providing regular feedback to the planning function on production plan adherence, the Factory Manager will ensure the provision, maintenance and operation of optimum operating capacity, to satisfy production plan requirements, both current and projected, ensuring the delivery of value and efficiency within areas of control and in the organisation as whole. We are looking for an experienced department manager preferably from within automotive or heavy engineering, a skilled communicator and advocate of lean principles.
